Who may become a member?
Any baptized Christian who, following the example of the life and teaching of Saint John of the Cross, wishes to leave their state of spiritual infancy and move as quickly as possible to the full life of the spirit.
How do I join the SSJC?
Send an e-mail to the Society (preferred) or write the Society c/o Owen Davis, 216 Rimmon Road, North Haven CT 06473. In your e-mail please state your desire to follow the example of the life and teaching of John of the Cross. Please provide your name, address and phone number for our membership database.
Are there any membership dues?
No.
What about meetings?
All members are encouraged to form a local prayer/study/support group to help and guide each other on this journey of faith and love.
Does the SSJC have officers?
No. This is completely a grassroots, non-hierarchical, loosely structured organization of individuals whose only desire is to "be with God."
What benefits does the Society provide its members?
